Derek and I decided to switch nighttime Isaac coverage plans.
Before, Derek would take the first half of the night and I would take the second part. The problem is, Isaac sleeps really awesome for the first 4 or 5 hours. It’s the latter half that he’s grunting, groaning, crying, etcetera.
So, now, we’ll alternated nights. I took last night. He slept from 9:00 until 1:30, and then from 2:00ish until 4:00 (when I picked him up and put him on my chest). He did his usual grunt, groan, cry routine until about 5:15. I started a bottle, fed him at 5:30 and now he’s fast asleep in his swing. Or so I think. I don’t hear him on the monitor.
It’s so nice to know that tonight, no matter what, I get a full uninterrupted night of sleep. I think the new plan will be delightful.
