My mom arrived last night to get her son.
She’s staying through Sunday morning.
Then, it will be back to life, as usual. I say that, as though anything is ever “usual”. It seems just as soon as I get used to something, it changes.
Today, we went to Babies R Us to get some gates for the ever-changing Sir Isaac T. Lidbom. Then, we swung by World Market and Home Goods for some shopping. My mom bought a string of porcelain fish that appear to be eating each other. And Jake got some gimmicky candy type thing. Good times.
Then, my mom mowed our lawn. She’s crazy.
When the boy awakened, we went to “Once Upon A Child” and “Plato’s Closet”. I scored some Gap shorts. My mom got a lot of crap. The boy fell asleep on the ride home. He was exhausted.
We played a lot of Wii Big Brain Academy. It’s a lot of fun, and has definitely consumed a lot of our time. I am a B+, so far.
