once again, i/we WAAAY overdid it with baking for christmas. i say it every year, but NEXT year, i will tone it down a bit. (and i can confirm that last years declaration went unheeded and i went off the rails again this year. but NEXT YEAR….)
last year though. 2023. i had helpers. eager helpers.
we made a lot. both in quantity and variety.
of course the favorite part is the cutout sugar cookie decorating. this years masterpieces did not disappoint. it’s more fun as they get older and more creative and more hilarious and more ridiculous.
the gingerbread man gets a lot of attention these days. and we had a dog cutter that obviously meant ruby would be represented. same for the chicken. anyways. here’s some of the best work.

as usual, there were many bills themed cookies. we are becoming experts.

anyways. we packed up tons of plates to give to friends, as well as two GIANT trays to bring to our family christmas party. and guess what. there were still TONS leftover. like i said. next next year, i’m not doing this.
