i was surprised to receive an order for a buffalo sabres cake (you know, since i live in winston-salem, north carolina). even though i had intended to cut back on cakes, i couldn’s say no to this request….

I found a picture of this cake and I hope you do not mind I used it as a template. I have a family that are not fond of fondant so I used Modeling chocolate. We also made it a blue and gold cake inside too! Thanks for the inspiration! Go Sabres! ~Kim Bradford, PA
