on tuesday, december 10th, we welcomed this little bundle of apprehensive joy into the world:
we are calling her hazel grace.
and she was 21 inches long and 7 lbs 15 oz.
and was born at 11:20 am.
i’ll post more details later, about how the whole thing actually went down. but, for now, here’s some pictures of the last four-ish days…
anna is less certain. i think this is the exact moment she realized she is a middle child.
she warmed up a little later. 🙂
derek captured this super sweet shot, with his fancy pants iphone 5s.
isaac lost a tooth at school during my hospital stay. this is unrelated to hazel.
the kids visited the second day and things were a little more calm. isaac gazed at hazel some.
i made sure to get a wrinkly foot pic. in black and white. because that’s what you’re supposed to do.
on thursday morning, we were sprung. we showed hazel her new home.
she tested out her new quilt, from my friend (quiltmom) kim.
anna suddenly seems like a big kid, now that there is a tiny new person on the scene.
anyhooooo.
that’s the photo documentation.
stay tuned for the details. if you’re interested in such things.
Such sweet pics 🙂 and yes wrinkled feet pictures absolutely must be in black and white, pretty sure it’s a law.
I’m sure impressed you are finding blogging time. Super mom!
That striped onesie is the best. Great photos. NonFBers appreciate these things. Is that OJ in the last pic?
