On Saturday (yeah, I know, it’s Wednesday now….I’m BUSY!)…
On Saturday, we (me, Derek and Billy N.) went to Hanging Rock State Park, all the way up in Stokes County. We got lost on our hike (again) and wound up 4.5 miles out of our way.
So, due to time constraints, we went back to our vehicles and drove to the Visitor Center, 1.2 miles from the top. After our “excursion” off the beaten path, we were extremely tired on the hike up and back from the Hanging Rock part.
We got to see some scenery and the day was pretty nice. We saw a “Mountain Turtle” and a carcass and lots of frogs. Very productive. Very fun.
