Yesterday, we went to many yard sales. We made out like bandits. Well, except we paid for stuff. I don’t think bandits pay for things. Which makes me question using the phrase “made out like bandits”. Anyhow…
The first stop was a neighborhood sale. There was a TON of baby stuff, but we exercised great restraint. We got a Leap Frog “learning table” for $2. (We just bought a brand new one for $40 the day before, so we ran home and packed that up for return!). I got a ton of clothes for the next couple of little man sizes. We also scored some more blocks and some Legos (for future use). I got some books and a Miami Dolphins sweatshirt and Derek got a polo shirt.
On the way home, we hit two (unadvertised) yard sales in our neighborhood and scored some more clothes at one and some megablocks and a kermit doll at the other. I think that covers it.
I thought that the boy would be worn out from being dragged around all morning and take a 2 hour nap, but as is the usual, he awakened after a solid 45 minutes and was raring to go…
