News Briefings

Where to begin??

I’ve added some stuff to the site, recently. The tales of the summer and Jake: July 4th in Batavia and the Ensuing Visit From Jake

School “starts” next week. I just received notice that I am to report to the New Teacher Orientation next week (one week early). So, my vacation has been cut short, rather abrubtly, and VERY against my will.

Boston Red Sox beat the Yankees in the bottom of the 9th tonight.

For Derek’s (Early) Birthday, I order TimeWarner Digital Cable with DVR. We’ve been enjoying the high life lately. Up until now, we’ve lived with basic cable, and a few weird channels that slipped through (Fuse on ch. 74 is AWESOME). But, we’ve recorded about 50 things in two days. I think it’s worth it.

I had a Cookout Blueberry Cheesecake milkshake tonight. They are going to be the death of me. The sweet goodness…..

Well, that’s about it. Until the next episode….

Is everybody in your family this crazy over JAKE? I can see why! Looks like you guys had a great time and made some wonderful memories.
Why don’t you make such a big deal over Julie? She’s quite a cutie herself!
Where were you in your summer dress???

  2. Julie is old. Jake will get old, too. Then he will not be as fun. His cuteness is quickly diminishing. We hand out with Julie too. Didn’t you see her section? No! Because you didn’t look and you just assumed.

    My dress was dirty.

  3. thanks for coming down and visiting the dowd’s this past weekend. it was just like old times….except for us having a kid and all. he told me to tell you that he liked your truck.

  4. indeed, chris….
thanks for having us. it was a lot of fun. i miss old bethesda and chillin’ at the bbc…
    maybe someday….

  5. Someday I’ll get over my middle child syndrome. Leslie and I can start therapy together..

  6. I’m sorry you had to be the middle child, Julie. If it makes you feel better, I have to bear the pressure of being the first-born, and MOST PERFECT of all the children. It’s a burden I’m glad to suffer, for the sake of my younger siblings. 🙂
