on saturday, a massive snowstorm moved across our area, dropping down almost 3 whole inches. this raised our christmas spirit by 87%, so i offered to make cookies with isaac. he wasn’t interested in the making of cookies, but wanted to decorate more gingerbread like he had with jake over thanksgiving.
rather than make gingerbread dough from scratch, or even sugar cookie dough, i sent derek to the grocery store with all the folks buying up milk, eggs and bread (to make french toast, i suppose?) to pick up some ready made sugar cookie dough for us.
by the time we rolled out the dough and cooked our little men, isaac had lost interest. last night, i convinced him to give it another shot. here’s how it went down:
