you guys. this kid turned seventeen in january of 2024.
seven. teen.
feels like this was yesterday.
like previous years, his birthday aligned with exams and the semester break at school, so he got to spend his day doing what he loves. gaming.
the boy agreed to homemade nachos for dinner and then opened his (also gaming related) gifts.
and then. we celebrated as a family with some gluten free oreo cupcakes. and some random candles.
the fam party was lame and thrown together, but we ordered real food and made an actual (cookie) cake with requested decor for his friend party. which was low key and no friends were caught on camera. i have no clue what this cake decoration is, i was just handed a photo and ran with it.
anyways. i have barely any recollection of these events so i’m going to say it was wonderful and maybe force that memory into my brain, even if it wasn’t.
happy birthday to the boy. who is almost a (legal) adult.
