isaac has recently discovered that there’s a little stream (at the end of a treacherous path) at the park around the corner. he begs and begs for me to take him “to the river”, so he can touch the stagnant water and walk precariously along the steep bank. how can i say no?

Hey have you noticed that in the last picture it looks like he is petting an alligator? See his eye and the edge of his mouth as he comes up from the water? Creepy!
