Homecoming

Posted on September 29, 2003February 10, 2011by sarah

We went to Bethesda (my old church) yesterday, for homecoming. It was fun. I miss the old place. I got to see a lot of old friends and eat some AWESOME food!! I had an interview this morning to possibly start teaching Middle School math. I’m excited about the opportunity, but a little nervous. It’s […]

Trivial Pursuit Champs

Posted on September 25, 2003February 10, 2011by sarah

We cooked a roast last night and had Derek’s parents over for dinner. Then we had cherry cobbler (out of the box) for dessert. Then, we busted out the new Trivial Pursuit (1982-2002) and kicked their butts. Ok, really it went more like, we got all our pies and couldn’t land on the center for […]

Lazy Weekend

We had a very lazy weekend. On Friday night, we went to Hal and Leigh Anne’s for some AWESOME fajitas and other Mexican treats. That was fun. We did NOTHING on Saturday. Until later, when we bought some Autumn decorations at Target and made our home slightly festive. We watched part of Chicago but we […]

Long Weekend

Posted on September 1, 2003February 10, 2011by sarah

The long weekend is winding down and I’m sad. I like weekends. Not because I don’t have to work (I don’t have a JOB), but more because Derek doesn’t have to and we can hang out and stuff. We had some friends over last night for dinner. Derek cooked enchiladas. I worked on the website a […]

Movie

Posted on August 30, 2003February 10, 2011by sarah

We watched a movie last night called The Life of David Gale. It had pretty average acting, but the idea behind it was very thought provoking. I couldn’t think about much else all night and I woke up still thinking about it. In fact, I’m obviously thinking about it now. Kevin Spacey is good.
