today was isaac’s first day of preschool. he wasn’t up for a cute stand-in-front-of-the-house-all-dressed-and-ready-to-go-on-the-first-day-of-school picture. instead, i snapped these, despite his best efforts to avoid the camera.
he cried all the way there and grumbled all the way from the car to the door. then, he slipped into the classroom without even saying goodbye. when i picked him up, he sauntered over (unlike the other kids who burst out the door into their parents’ waiting arms). his analysis: he liked school. it was fun. he doesn’t want to go back though.
