shortly after awakening this morning, i determined that i was taking the lidkids on an adventure. as soon as they woke up, i dressed them and packed and we headed to brown’s berry patch, about 45 minutes north. just shy of lake ontario.
we mostly played. we picked zero berries. we didn’t even buy any berries. we had chocolate chip cookies and a blueberry muffin. well, i guess i bought a few berries after all. it was a beautiful day for it and i hoped that it would wear out the knuckleheads.

anna fell asleep for the ride home and refused any further sleep. isaac has been being a monster since. so, it worked to tire them out. just not to the point of sleep. so, an early bedtime it will be.
