tangled cupcakes.

our friend annie is having a 3rd birthday party tomorrow and she loves the disney movie tangled. i am in charge of cakery, and i didn’t want to go too crazy, since we just came back from ny and i had my own birthday just yesterday. so, today, i whipped these suckers up:

one of each tangled cupcake.

the suns were my least favorite:

i liked the crowns and they were pretty easy:

the three’s were the easiest:

i super loved how the painters palette’s turned out. i used rainbow sprinkles/non-pareils from the cake store for the paint colors.

the rapunzel hair stressed me out. and i made it ginormous. i felt like it was going to make the cupcape topple over. so far, it hasn’t.

i thought the chameleons came out super cute, but super too big. i colored enough fondant to make 4 (or more) smaller ones, but when all was said and done, i only made three. oh well.

here’s the entire posse of 24.
you might notice a red buffalo in the back. that’s a nod to the father of the b-day girl who hails from south buffalo…
all the tangled cupcakes.

that’s all. thanks. 🙂
