and then. the annababy was fifteen.

man these years just keep flying by.
seems like yesterday the annababy was the worlds more adorable toddler, quietly going about life, observing and mean mugging, desperately avoiding attention at all costs.
and now. well. she’s still observant. but very much loves any and all attention and is anything but quiet.

she is into all things theater. musicals. broadway. drama club. long monologues. all of it. she is smart and studious. funny and quirky. snarky and witty. and a kind friend. she’s turning out to be a pretty great kid, so maybe i’ll stop telling people she was switched at birth.

for her party with friends, you already saw the cake but here’s the actual cake celebration….

she forced all of her friends to play anna jeopardy, and they were way into it. she even provided them with study guides beforehand. it was pretty intense. also, for the record, she got this idea from an episode of the middle, and her doppelganger, sue heck.

since it was an outsiders musical themed party, the girls all dressed as greasers. and someone even supplied candy cigarettes. and then we recreated some iconic movie poster scenes. dorks. adorable dorks.

all of this took place before her actual birthday. and since her big gift from us was a trip to see the outsiders musical in nyc over spring break, her actual birthday was sort of meh. we did get a publix variety cheesecake to commemorate.

and she had a pretty good day at school being celebrated. 🙂

so. that’s that. barreling towards 16. driving. all of that. what the heck.
