rainbow-y raffle cake

last year, hazel’s favorite teacher’s husband, who is the director of development at riverwood therapeutic riding center, asked if i would donate a cake to be raffled at an annual giant fundraiser. of course, i obliged and went all out with some florals (which you can see that cake here if you wish).

well, this year, i was a little more pressed for time. it’s the last week of classes for me, and the end of the year activities for kids are ramping up, AND i had another cake on tap. but, i still wanted to do something epic-ish, fun, festive, etc. but also new to me. after assembling a vision board, i got to work. mixing the colors, filling the bags, and cleaning up were the most time consuming aspects of this one.

i love love love this one.

i love the textures. the colors. and it came together so super fast. i will definitely make it again.

as an added bonus, i was able to use a lot of the frosting leftovers in my next cake. (post to come). i hope this earned lots of money in the raffle. 🙂
