now that i’ve written separate posts for easter festivities, my camping trip, anna’s grease performance, and our anniverary(ish) getaway, i didn’t leave much left to report from april.
i kicked things off with an aprils fools day hang with my good old pal sara without an h. we hit up the new-ish bagel boss in king. it was 1000x worth the carbs and calories. i opted for a salt bagel with chive cream cheese. sarah had a lox-y sort of thing. so good. and same for the conversation.

later in the month, as strawberry season got underway, we scheduled another hangz to obtain said fruits from robertson family farms. local strawbs are far superior to store strawbs. obviously, we had a full blown photo shoot about it.

during one or both of these hangs, thrift shopping occurred. it usually does. in fact, a lot of thrifting has been taking place lately. there’s been some cool finds. a banana slugs t-shirt for anna, who was OBSESSED with them when we were in the PNW. a weird childrens book that was 25 cents and i couldn’t pass on that deal, and a rydell high t-shirt for Anna, hot off her performance in grease. (plus so much more, but this is all I’ve documented).

now we have reached the time in the blog post where i post my food and exercise. i don’t know why i still do this. maybe i’ll stop. it was exciting at first. now it’s just what i do.

ok. back to non-boring stuff. perhaps. i’ve been doing some quilt binding jobs for the shop i used to work at. i normally don’t take pics or post them. but i freaking loved this one. i wanted to steal it.

some wardrobe pics of anna. she’s eclectic. definitely her very own person.

i had the opportunity to spend a morning with an adorable toddler kiddo of some friends of ours. it took a little bit of warming up, but eventually we were pretty much best friends. i miss these days and this kid reminds me of my girls not all that long ago.

ruby time!!

and. as per my usual. some random pics to wrap up the month of april. the buffalo sabres have made the playoffs for the first time in 14 years and we are all in. all the way in. ready for another buffalo sports heartbreak. jake and erika had a pro photo shoot with their new twins (and existing big boys) and they are adorable. mexican night out family selfie. and a lovely breakfast treat at a fancypants bakery with my pal heather peters. i had a quiche like a responsible gym bro.

wow. look at me blogging about april and it’s not even technically mid-may.
i’m crushing life.
