Our pals, Teresa and Craig, recently adopted this pretty baby from China. Her name is Callie Taylor-Ye Hughes. Mom says she’s a super good baby. She loved watching Jake do his normal routine. That is all.

Jake Paine is in town. We’ve been hanging out, playing video games, eating candy, watching movies… the usual kid-type activities. Not much else going on. We get our old house painted today (and for the next few days I guess). Then, it’s on the market, and we can sell it soon (I hope). That’s it.

So, a storm rolled through yesterday. I was pleasantly napping on the couch at the time. Derek came in and told me that there were tornado warnings. Soon after, the power went out.
