on saturday, derek went out to hack down our ridiculously long lawn and isaac went out to help. and by help, i mean try to ram his toy lawn mower into the real (dangerous) lawn mower. he’s obsessed with smashing into things….please disregard the overgrown garden in the background.

isaac has a green (not important to the story) train called “the flying scotsman”… he refers to it as “castle baby”. i have no idea why. but, it’s funny. the end.

this morning, i went into isaac’s room, while he was still sleeping, to put away some laundry. lucy followed me in and promptly licked isaac through the slats of his crib, waking him up. i said, “hey buddy”. and he said, “hey sarah”.
