Whenever I ask Isaac where Jake is, he runs and gets this picture and brings it back. He loves Jake and if he knew we were heading to NY next friday to see him, I think he would be excited (and maybe even behave in the car for 11 long hours).
family
Children’s Museum
Derek’s parents were taking Caison to the Children’s Museum today, as a reward for beinga fully fledged member of the potty trained club. Isaac and I decided to tag along, not even realizing how much fun we would have. The first room was pretty much a pre-school playroom and had all sorts of building toys. […]
huh?
i was looking through some old photos and found this one from thanksgiving-ish time of 2004. we were in town for my 10 year high school reunion and it was lucy’s first time meeting the batavia clan. jake wanted to hang in lucy’s crate and she was a bit confused. made for a great shot!
corn popper madness
isaac loves his corn popper. (gift from uncle jake). he hasn’t quite mastered the push motion, but he can often be seen (and heard) dragging the corn popper all over the house. the video below is about 50 seconds of him dragging it about the house. if you’re waiting for something to happen as a […]
family visit, in pictures
i didn’t take very many pictures when my family was in town, but here are some of the few. isaac, not really looking for easter eggs: our easter egg artwork: isaac’s sweet new ride: jake is looking for an elusive (and well hidden egg), while isaac tries to climb the slide with […]

adventures of sarah and isaac in batavia, part tres
some photos: bundled up to face the blizzard like conditions. hanging with grampa-terry. kisses from gramma. matching shirts with eric. *not intentional*
vintage shots: just me
until yesterday, i thought isaac looked 100% like derek lidbom. now, i’m not so sure… chillin’ with “peter-grampa”: a little bit older, and wearing a sweet shawl…
vintage shots: me and leslie
a few years back, my dad came up for leslie’s wedding reception. with him, he brought a stack of old pictures that leslie (eric) scanned in. after the long and arduous process of cropping them and saving them individually, eric gave me a cd of the pictures. here is a small sampling… leslie and i […]
