After a long (hot) walk yesterday, we hopped in the lake to cool off.The boy loved this activity, also. We went swimming in a pool after this. He’s becoming quite the little water baby.

After school Friday, Derek and I made a spur of the moment decision to drive to St. Petersburg, Florida, to see my Dad’s side of the family. We made it there in 10 hours of drive time and spent the weekend and came back yesterday. (Hopefully, soon, I’ll get a biography entry ready for it.) […]

We are leaving today to head to NY for Christmas. I can’t wait. Real snow and cold. Christmas excitement the way I remember from being a kid. Even though it’s not quite the same these days.We’re taking the truck so we don’t get stuck.
